Wood Duck Farm rests on the southern boundary of the Sam Houston National Forest, which is about 48 miles due north of Houston. ( Approximately 40 mins. from the Woodlands and 30 mins. from Kingwood.) Our small family farm grows market ready produce fit for some of the finest "white tablecloth" restaurants in Houston, Austin and Dallas. Given the mild winters of southeast Texas, we are fortunate that we are always growing some variety of vegetable or herb. If you have visited the Urban Harvest Farmer's Market (aka Bayou City) in Houston on Saturday mornings, you may have already been exposed to some of our treats. 2010 will mark the beginning of our second year hosting a CSA program. While we take pride in our 2009 efforts, our first year was not without making mistakes. We are optimistic that we have learned from our oversights and look forward to a fantastic 2010.
